Draw It for Me

SML will happily do space planning and furniture arrangement for your work space.

In order to do this, we need correct measurements. Here's how to get them to us.

  • Scaled, architectural drawings can be mailed, faxed or emailed to us.  However, do not reduce the size of your drawings because they will no longer be to scale
    • Faxing is best if you only have a room or two.
    • If the drawings are in AutoCAD or Cap Studio format email anne@smarketltd.com
    • Click Here for our mailing address.
  • You can also measure yourself.  Read the following tips.

TIPS FOR MEASURING

  • Draw the outline of the room first.  Also put in your doors, windows and any jigs and jags which you see.  Then you are ready to measure.
  • Use only inches or use inches and feet. Example:  Use 15’6” wide x 10’9” long or 186" wide x 129" long  and not 15"6' x 129".
  • Err on the side of making a measurement smaller NOT larger.  For example, if the space is 5’11 1/8” don’t put 6’.  If you are not sure, put 5’11”. If you are doing the calculation in inches it would be 71 1/8” or  71”.
  • Print clearly.
  • Make a note of any unusual conditions.
  • If you have more than one room or area, put them on separate pieces of paper.
